Common questions

Is there a free trial for paid plans? +
Yes. Pro and Business plans include a 14-day free trial — no credit card required. You can evaluate the full governance engine in your own environment before committing.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits? +
We'll notify you when you approach 80% of your limit. If you exceed it, additional API calls return a 429 until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade. We won't silently charge you overage fees — you choose when to move tiers.
Can I switch plans mid-cycle? +
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You keep access to current-tier features until the cycle ends.
Do you offer pricing for startups or academia? +
Yes — contact us at support@tracecontinuity.com with a brief description of your organization. We have a startup program for early-stage companies and non-commercial rates for academic research.
What does "designed for regulated environments" mean? +
It means the architecture was built with regulated use cases in mind from day one — PII handling, audit requirements, retention obligations, and multi-tenant isolation are core primitives, not afterthoughts. We don't claim certifications we haven't completed. We lead with how the system is built, which is what regulated buyers need to evaluate first.
Does Enterprise include a Business Associate Agreement (BAA)? +
Yes. Enterprise plans include a BAA for healthcare customers operating under HIPAA. Contact sales to discuss your specific requirements.
